Week in Review: Princess Charlene, 4-10 September

Here's what Charlene wore from 4-10 September:

  1. Attending the Yorkshire Variety Club Golden Ball, 4 September. I've lost my ability to be wowed by her in beige, isn't that sad?
  2. At the opening of Montblanc's Princesse Grace de Monaco collection, 9 September. (Caroline wore a rather interesting Chanel creation, see here. Interesting, I say.)
  3. Monaco's annual picnic, 10 September. So, Char wore her church-going best...which is quite different from what Caroline (behind her) wore...yet Al wore a suit...and this is what they wore last year...color me confused. What sort of picnic is this?
What's intriguing me lately about Charlene is not her clothes, it's her jewels.
It seems like every time we see her, she's wearing a new set of modern jewels. New earrings at the Yorkshire ball, new earrings and bracelet(s) from Montblanc at the Montblanc event. So far, we haven't seen much repeating from any of these new gems, which leads me to wonder: has she already built one of the most impressive royal collections of new jewels, or has she already established a firm policy of utilizing jeweler loans (much like Grace did)? What's your guess?
